Part-time Service Mission Opportunity: Assistant to Disability Services

A Church-service Missionary (CSM) is needed as an Assistant to Disabilities Services, who will work with others to make the gospel more accessible to those with disabilities. CSM responsibilities would be to: Coordinate the work of other Church-service missionaries and volunteers, respond to feedback and questions relating to disabilities, respond to questions about talking books and other materials, track braille and audio production, find CSM opportunities for young adults with disabilities, and coordinate the reuse of materials to libraries for the blind in other countries. The CSM will serve 15–25 hours a week, either from home or at the Church Office Building, for 12 to 24 months. Must be available to come to the office at least one day a week.

Skills: Have a general understanding of disabilities, or the desire to learn about disability issues.
