Mental Health Resource Foundation

On occassion, we'll highlight a site that we've found particularly useful from the LDS Disability Directory and our first stop will be the the Mental Health Resource Foundation. From their About the Foundation page:

The Foundation's interests are to identify, develop, and promote resources for those persons with mental health concerns. Mental health concerns include mental illnesses such as depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety, and eating disorders; and social/emotional concerns including alcohol and drug abuse, same-sex attraction, pornography, divorce, and physical and sexual abuse.

While they don't specifically mention disability in their about page, they do include many helpful disability resources. Plan on spending some time to get a feel for all of the great resources that they offer, which include a discussion board, a newsletter and the Resource Library which includes a section on 'Disabilities and Syndromes'.

When you visit, be sure to check out the Sponsors/Donations page and consider supporting their continued efforts.
