(dis)Abilities and the Gospel: How to Bring People with Special Needs Closer to Christ

Danyelle Ferguson and Lynn Parsons released a book this summer titled (dis)Abilities and the Gospel: How to Bring People with Special Needs Closer to Christ. I have wanted to make a big announcement with a detailed review ever since, but since that has not happened yet, I at least wanted to make sure that people are aware and will point you to some other book reviews.

I first spoke with Danyelle about (dis)Abilities and the Gospel a number of years ago and it is great to see the many efforts that she and Lynn have put into this book come to fruition. In a nutshell the book contains an overall introduction to disabilities in the Church and section on children, youth and adults with disabilities. In addition, the book contains some very specific strategies for including a class member with disabilities.

If you want to learn more about the book, check out the following reviews:

You can purchase Purchase (dis)Abilities and the Gospel. Be sure to check out Danyelle's website and Lynn's website for additional resources relating to the book.
